The R.A.I.D. Corps, Incorporated Story

R.A.I.D. Corps, Incorporated was founded in 1996 by Jay Russell. The company started by serving public schools, then grew to serving Fortune 500 companies in the US and Mexico. In 2016 the company will have been in service for 20 years. The team at R.A.I.D. Corps, Incorporated is comprised of former police officers with expert backgrounds in working in the law enforcement side of the drug culture as well as extensive knowledge of working with canines. R.A.I.D. Corps, Incorporated is involved with both the utilization of as well as training of canines for detection purposes.

Jay Russell studied Criminal Justice at Spartanburg Methodist College, and went on to the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, before serving as a Trooper on the South Carolina Highway Patrol Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team.

As a Trooper, Jay conducted traffic stops where he searched card for illegal narcotics. While a trooper, Jay realized the need for drug interdiction in private sectors, which led to the formation of R.A.I.D. Corps, Incorporated.

Joel Raines

Joel Raines has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and has served 6 years in Law Enforcement. While attending the Charlotte Police K-9 School Joel won the Top Dog Award. He has spent 14 years as a Canine Handler and thousands of hours working K-9. He has also racked up hundreds of hours teaching on the signs and symptoms of drug use and distribution
